Photo Gallery Four - Critters
I love critters. Probably all critters large and small - but some are more
accessible, some are more photogenic, some are more interesting or unusual,
and... Well, you get the picture (some pun intended). There are a lot of
variables when it comes to photographing members of the animal kingdom. We
love our travels to different locations around the country and seem to gravitate
to locations with awesome physical beauty as well as diversity in fauna.
While we certainly enjoy seeing and photographing large mammals, it seems some of
our favorite subjects are winged critters with raptors (eagles, hawks, osprey,
and such) ranking high on the list. We've learned a great deal about the
animals we photograph and we've also learned (often the hard way) much about how
to photograph these wonders of our natural world. This includes camera and
lens choices, camera settings (so very important), times of day and year, as
well as what activities are most interesting. Because we have a very large
and growing portfolio of animals, this gallery can only contain a small sampling
of those images. We will periodically rotate images in and out of this
gallery based on acquiring new/better/more interesting photos or just to
occasionally mix things up. I hope you enjoy!
